The Allen Lund Company is pleased to share that Carrie Petersen was named the Julie Schultz Supervisor of the Year for Verbum Dei Jesuit High School’s Corporate Work Study Program.
Reflecting on the honor, Carrie expressed, “I am deeply honored to be named Supervisor of the Year. This award reflects the collective dedication of a team that works together to support and mentor our students daily. I am proud to work with such a committed group and grateful for the support of the Allen Lund Company and the many years we have been a part of the Corporate Work Study Program.”
Matt Barnes, Senior Director of Human Resources, said, “This is a well-deserved recognition for Carrie! Besides managing the work-study program and being the primary liaison with Verbum Dei, Carrie is so invested in the personal well-being and growth of each individual. It’s hard for these teenage boys from such different backgrounds to feel at home in a corporate office, but Carrie goes out of her way to ensure that they feel welcomed and supported each and every day they show up to work.”
ALC has been a part of the Verbum Dei Corporate Work Study Program for 18 years. It provides students the opportunity to gain professional experience and earn a portion of their private, college-preparatory education by connecting them with employers throughout Los Angeles.
