Matt Minthorn Promoted to Senior Director of Carrier Development

The Allen Lund Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Minthorn to senior director of carrier development. In this role he will focus on the carrier side of ALC’s business, overseeing activities related to carrier relations, compliance, and fraud prevention. He will report to Lenny Sciarappa, vice president of sales and operations.
Prior to his promotion, Minthorn served as the general manager of ALC Phoenix for twelve years. In his time there, the Phoenix team performed as a top office, consistently in the running for the Gear Up award, an internal company accolade.
Reflecting on his promotion, Matt Minthorn said, “I am extremely excited to assume this newly created role at ALC and look forward to uniting the three carrier facing teams of Carrier Resources, Claims and Carrier Sales & Development under one umbrella. Carriers are vital to our successes and my goal is to create consistent, positive carrier interactions at every level. I’d like to thank the Executive Team and all those that put trust in me to execute this important new role.”
Lenny Sciarappa stated, “Congratulations to Matt on his promotion to this new position. Matt has continually grown throughout his 21 years with ALC, beginning his career as a broker, being promoted to assistant general manager in the Boston office, and then becoming the general manager of our Phoenix office. Matt brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position, and I’m confident in his ability to succeed. I look forward to working with Matt as he develops the Carrier Sales department and combines the efforts of the Carrier Resources department and the Claims department to provide our offices with the best carriers available in our industry.”
