Since our founding in 1976, the Allen Lund Company has been rooted in the values of giving back and community involvement, inspired by the personal commitment of founders Allen and Kathie Lund. As a family-owned business, we approach community service and volunteerism with the same entrepreneurial spirit that the company was built on.
In 2016, in conjunction with 40 years of business, the Allen Lund Company launched its 40 Acts of Kindness initiative. This was the largest community service project the company had ever attempted and included participation from its nationwide offices as well as all support departments. What started as a milestone celebration has since become a tradition. Each year, we challenge ourselves to do more, and in 2024, we proudly completed 63 Acts of Kindness.
The Allen Lund Company was awarded the Samaritan Award by TIA (Transportation Intermediaries Association), an award created to recognize the charitable efforts of the 3PL Industry companies. Over the years, we have worked with organizations like Wreaths Across America, the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Navidad en el Barrio. Our commitment to community service remains a core part of who we are.
