For the 17th consecutive year, Allen Lund Company continues the tradition of participating in Wreaths Across America. An endeavor that started in 1992 to honor veterans by laying 5,000 wreaths at Arlington National Cemetary, has grown into wreath-laying ceremonies at over 2,500 locations across the U.S.
This year, the ALC Phoenix office arranged the delivery of wreaths to national cemeteries. In addition to organizing loads of wreaths, the CBOA department visited a cemetery in Chicago to place wreaths in honor of departed veterans.
Director of Carrier Development, Bill Bess shared, “In 2024, the Allen Lund Company was proud to support the Wreaths Across America effort by providing transportation services for truckloads of wreaths in the Southwestern United States. We are honored to support WAA and our country’s veterans during this annual event. WAA’s worldwide effort ‘To Remember, Honor, and Teach’ ensures that our country’s heroes and their sacrifices will be honored.”
